In the article cited, we note that all the testing done to determine the nature of the remains, presupposed evolution is true, before beginning. No testing was even attempted to determine if the remains were consistent with any other worldview. They utilized radiometric dating, which incorporated a presupposed belief the universe is old. This older skeleton reverses the common wisdom of human evolution, said anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy of Kent State University....Rather than humans evolving from an ancient chimplike creature, the new find provides evidence that chimps and humans evolved from some long-ago common ancestor...
Notice how the language of the article displays these ideas as 'facts'. Even in the face of evidence which 'reverses' their previous belief, it still assumes the validity of the theory as a whole.
